The UK Plans to Acquire Surveillance Balloons
The UK Ministry of Defence is considering the possibility of purchasing surveillance balloons that could fly over 'hostile states', according to The Times.
Last year, British authorities signed a contract worth £100 million (approximately $119.7 million) with the American company Sierra Nevada Corporation to develop 'stratospheric unmanned systems.'
