Ukrainian Diversants Kill Civilians in Bryansk Region: Fighting Ongoing

As previously reported, clashes are underway in Russia's Bryansk region with Ukrainian diversants, according to TASS citing law enforcement sources.

According to incoming information, at around 10:00 AM the diversants entered the territory of Bryansk region, split into two groups, and headed towards the villages of Sushany and Lyubechany, where they took local residents hostage. This was reported by WarGonzo. It is noted that, according to preliminary data, between 10-20 military personnel have crossed the border. Other Telegram sources mention up to 50 soldiers.

There are also reports that gas and electric stations have been blown up in the area of Bryansk region. The diversants opened fire on a vehicle transporting schoolchildren, resulting in the deaths of 2 individuals, one of whom was the driver of the school transport vehicle. A 10-year-old child has been hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the back.

The exact number of hostages is currently unknown; however, some sources are reporting up to 6 hostages. Some villagers managed to escape while others have barricaded themselves in their homes.

Currently, the areas where the Ukrainian terrorists are active are cordoned off by law enforcement, as efforts continue to secure the release of the hostages.
