Russian Peacekeepers Report Ceasefire Violation in Artsakh
The Russian peacekeeping contingent stationed in Artsakh has recorded a ceasefire violation in the Martakert region, according to the Russian Defense Ministry's information bulletin.
“One ceasefire violation has been registered in the Martakert region, with no casualties or injuries reported. The Russian peacekeeping forces are investigating this fact,” the statement read.
It was also noted that the Russian peacekeepers have been patrolling the territories of Shushi, Martakert, and Martuni along three routes. The convoy of Russian peacekeepers was escorted along the Goris-Stepanakert route with humanitarian supplies.
To ensure the safety of Russian peacekeepers and to prevent possible incidents, ongoing cooperation is maintained with the general staffs of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Previously, the Armenian side reported that on March 10, at approximately 19:40, the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire in Artsakh by using artillery. The Armenian side has no reported casualties, and the violation has been communicated to the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
