Armenia Signs MoU with Amazon
The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have signed a memorandum of understanding. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry.
The aim is to modernize the technological infrastructure in both the public and private sectors of Armenia and to accelerate the implementation of cloud services.
"Collaboration with the global leader in cloud computing, AWS, is a unique opportunity to advance Armenia's modernization and digital transformation, which is an integral part of the national agenda, strengthening Armenia's position as a regional leader in technology," the statement said.
The memorandum was signed by AWS's Vice President for Global Public Sector, Max Peterson, and the President of Armenia, former Minister of High-Tech Industry Vahagn Khachaturyan.
