Opportunity to Meet Armenian Prisoners of War in Baku Must Be Utilized, Says Hayk Mamijanyan

There is an opportunity to meet Armenian prisoners of war in a Baku prison, and it should be utilized. This was stated by Hayk Mamijanyan, the leader of the "I Have Honor" parliamentary faction, during a press briefing at the National Assembly.

He mentioned that the next session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly will take place in Baku in the fall. "In the case of a visit to Baku, I will do everything possible to make my letter sent a year ago to the speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, demanding a meeting with the Armenian prisoners of war held in a Baku prison, a reality. This is yet another window for our boys to visit the Baku prison and familiarize themselves with their well-being," said the faction leader.

It is also noteworthy that Hayk Mamijanyan of the "I Have Honor" faction had originally addressed the speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan in July 2022, requesting an arrangement to visit Armenian prisoners held in captivity in Azerbaijan to learn about their health conditions and the circumstances of their detention.
