New Meeting Held Between Representatives of Artsakh, Azerbaijan, and Russian Peacekeepers
A tripartite meeting was held today involving representatives from the Republic of Azerbaijan, Artsakh, and the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces. The discussions focused on restoring the unimpeded passage of vehicles through the Lachin Corridor and confirming the corridor's intended use. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces.
It was reported that the parties also examined issues related to ensuring uninterrupted electricity and gas supplies to Artsakh. Furthermore, the possibility of monitoring environmental conditions by Azerbaijani representatives at two mining sites (specifically referring to Dyrmboni and Kashen) was discussed during the meeting.
Agreements were reached regarding further cooperation, reducing tensions, establishing peaceful life in the region, and searching for ways to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
It is noteworthy that a meeting between representatives from Artsakh and Azerbaijan, with the direct involvement of the Russian peacekeeping forces, took place on February 24.
