Protests Held Outside the State Revenue Committee with Police Forces Gathered

Residents living in the former Ministry of Defense building are currently staging a protest outside the State Revenue Committee. It is noted that the police had recently conducted operations in the former Ministry building, and there were numerous arrests. It has been reported that police forces have been deployed near the SRС building.

Let us remind you that residents of the former Ministry of Defense building in the Proshyan community have been struggling for a long time for their housing, as they have been forced to leave the building since it was transferred to the State Revenue Committee's balance.

It should be emphasized that residents were notified months ago about leaving the building; however, they insist that they have nowhere to go and that around 150 families with children will end up on the streets.

Earlier, it was reported that 12 families living in the former Ministry of Defense building had been moved to dormitories, but some residents refused to live under those conditions, while others have alternative housing options.
