Dangerous Developments Brewing with New Threats, Says Abrahamyan

Parliament member Tigran Abrahamyan stated on his Facebook page: “Recently, two news items circulated through Azerbaijani propaganda channels. The first, citing an anonymous source, warned of an impending attack on Syunik, while the second, guided by the Russian side, discussed attacks on Azerbaijani pipelines originating from Armenia.

The issue becomes more vivid when recalling an analysis shared a few weeks ago by one of the primary Azerbaijani propaganda outlets, which claimed that Armenia and Iran were preparing aggression against Azerbaijan in the direction of Syunik. It is evident that dangerous developments are brewing beneath the surface, bringing with them new threats.

A window for a new regional escalation is opening due to various factors, and the main concern is how the Armenian government will respond to this situation. The question, of course, is more rhetorical, because this government has more resources to involve Armenia in various conflicts than to resist them. A rather dangerous environment is forming around us, which poses a serious threat to Armenia and Artsakh.”
