Shell to Enter Armenian Market in March
The British-Dutch oil and gas company Shell will enter the Armenian market this year. This information is reported by investin.am.
According to the outlet, the company has confirmed that it will launch a network of gas stations in Armenia by March.
"The company’s gas stations will meet the highest quality and standards. The fuel will be fully imported from Greece," the website reports.
Shell, headquartered in London, is one of the world's leading companies in the energy sector. It is a public limited company, listed on the primary market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and on the secondary markets of Amsterdam's Euronext and the New York Stock Exchange. As a major player in “Big Oil,” Shell ranks among the largest oil and gas companies by revenue in the world.
On November 2, Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan announced that American companies would soon enter the Armenian fuel market.
