Grandmother Recorded How Father Sexually Abused 9-Year-Old Daughter

Today, on February 23, police detained a 38-year-old man from the Gegharkunik region at the Vardenis police department.

According to Shamshyan.com, he is suspected of committing sexual acts against his 9-year-old daughter. Reports indicate that the operational information received by the Yerevan Police Department was not only credible but also substantiated.

The abominable act was recorded by the father’s 61-year-old mother on her mobile phone. The detained man confessed that on February 21, he had sexually abused his daughter in his apartment located in the Gegharkunik region.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Gegharkunik regional investigation department regarding the incident.
