Explosion in Kasakh Village: Casualties Reported

On February 20, at 08:45, the Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center received a report of an explosion audible from one of the two-story houses on Tumanyan Street in Kasakh village. This was announced by the emergency service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

An operational group from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and two fire-rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the explosion occurred in the kitchen of the house. Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, two injured individuals were hospitalized.
