18 Bodies Found in Truck in Bulgaria, Including Children

Authorities have discovered 18 bodies inside a truck near Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Among the deceased are children aged 6 to 7, as reported by the local BTA news agency on Friday.

Preliminary data suggests that the victims were migrants who had hidden in a compartment beneath a load of wood.

Reports indicate that there are survivors, with a total of 34 individuals transported to the hospital.

A designated route for migrant transport had been established, and the truck driver is reported to have fled the scene.
