Pashinyan to Travel to Germany with Anna Hakobyan

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, will make a working visit to Munich along with his wife, Anna Hakobyan. This information was provided by the press service of the Prime Minister of Armenia. Earlier, it was reported that the Prime Minister would participate in the official opening ceremony of the Munich Security Conference.

“Within the framework of the conference, Pashinyan will have a series of bilateral meetings with foreign partners,” the statement said.

The working visit is scheduled for February 16-19. It is also noted that Anna Hakobyan is expected to meet with Silvana Koch-Mehrin, the president and founder of the organization “Women Political Leaders.”

Additionally, Azerbaijani media have reported that President Ilham Aliyev will also participate in the same conference.

It's worth recalling that Pashinyan made a working visit to Germany in February 2020, where he attended the opening ceremony of the Munich Security Conference and held a meeting with Aliyev.

Auroranews.am attempted to contact the head of the Prime Minister's press office, Armen Khachatryan, as well as the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vahan Hunanyan, to clarify whether such a meeting is planned this time; however, our calls to both departments went unanswered.
