Pashinyan and Aliyev to Attend Munich; Is a Meeting Planned?
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is set to participate in the Munich Security Conference. Several bilateral meetings are scheduled during the conference, which will take place from February 17-19.
Azerbaijani media reports indicate that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will also be attending the same conference. It is noteworthy that in February 2020, Pashinyan made an official visit to Germany, where he attended the opening ceremony of the Munich Security Conference and held a meeting with Aliyev.
Auroranews.am attempted to reach out to the Head of the Information Department of the Prime Minister's Office, Armen Khachatryan, as well as the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vahan Hunanyan, to clarify whether a meeting between the two leaders is planned this time; however, our calls to both departments went unanswered.
