Current Road Conditions: Snow in the Saravan-'Zanger' Area

The Emergency Services have reported that there are closed roads in the Republic of Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn Province, the roads from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and to K’ari Lake are closed.

Snow is currently falling in the Saravan-'Zanger' area.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia’s Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of North Ossetia of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for heavy trucks.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
