Photos: Separatists from a Wild Tribe in Indonesia Take New Zealand Pilot Hostage
In Indonesia, Papuan separatists (from a wild tribe in the southeastern part of New Guinea) have taken a New Zealand pilot and six passengers hostage, demanding independence for the Highland Papua province. The separatists eventually released the passengers but did not free the pilot. According to published photos, it seems that the pilot is doing well in captivity.
