Expensive Services Will Also Be Included in the Insurance Package: Anahit Avanesyan

The Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, provided details about the mandatory health insurance system during today's press conference.

According to her, the ministry has adopted a phased approach to the implementation of this system. Regarding the insurance package, Avanesyan stated that it will not depend on citizens' incomes, but will have a fixed value.

The package will include services for cardiovascular diseases, cancer, screening examinations, and surgeries. "Expensive services will also be included in the insurance package," she emphasized.

Anahit Avanesyan assured that the insurance package will be comprehensive: "We have the dedication, political will, and promise that this system will be implemented," she stressed, adding, "We will do everything to ensure the success of this system."
