Russian Hackers Breach Ramstein Air Base Website

The Russian hacker group Killnet claims to have breached the website of the Ramstein Air Base located in Germany. "The base collapsed, that's how it turned out," they stated on their Telegram channel We are Killnet, reports RIA Novosti.

According to their correspondents, the website is currently non-functional. When attempting to access the site from Brussels, the page fails to load, and it soon becomes clear that the loading time has expired.

Ramstein Air Base is where meetings of the NATO contact group and their allies supporting Ukraine are held.

Located in northern Germany, the air base is the largest U.S. Air Force base outside the United States, serving as their headquarters in Europe (U.S. Air Forces in Europe, USAFE), and is one of NATO's bases. The establishment houses around 15,000 military personnel and employs approximately 30,000 civilian specialists. Ramstein is one of the two bases in Germany where nuclear warheads are believed to be stored.
