Yerevan Popular Among Russian Tourists for February Holidays
Yerevan is one of the most sought-after cities for Russian tourists looking to spend their February holidays. As the upcoming long weekend dedicated to February 23 approaches, Russians have made extensive hotel bookings in Saint Petersburg and Moscow, with Yerevan hotels also experiencing significant demand among foreign destinations.
This information comes from an analysis by the OneTwoTrip travel planning service, as reported by RIA Novosti.
In Russia, Saint Petersburg emerges as the most popular city for travel, accounting for 18.2% of all hotel bookings during this period. Moscow follows in second place with a share of 17.7%.
Among international destinations, Istanbul hotels are the most in demand, with 9.8% of bookings made for the Turkish city. Dubai accounts for another 5.3% of reservations. Many travelers are also planning trips to Thailand. Additionally, Yerevan ranks in the top ten, with a 3.0% share, followed by Paris (2.8%), Rome (2.3%), and Antalya (1.6%).
