Indian SSLV Rocket Successfully Launches 3 Satellites Into Orbit
The Indian Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) has successfully launched three satellites into orbit, announced Shree Somnath, the head of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), as reported by Interfax.
“During today’s launch attempt, the SSLV rocket accurately placed the EOS-07 satellite into its intended orbit, along with two other satellites that were also launched into their calculated orbit,” Somnath stated.
The launch took place at 09:18 Indian Standard Time (06:48 UTC) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre located on Sriharikota Island in southeastern India.
