Pope Francis Calls for Aid to Earthquake Victims in Syria and Turkey

Pope Francis has called for assistance for those affected by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. This was reported by Vatican News.

The Pope urged the faithful to pray for the victims, stating, "With all my heart, I stand alongside those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. I continue to pray for the deceased, as well as for the families of the injured and for the rescuers. May our aid support them in this terrible tragedy," he declared on his social media page.

On the same day, U.S. Papal Missionary Societies initiated a fundraising campaign for the earthquake relief fund in Turkey and Syria.
