VIDEO: Just Days Ago, Scientist Predicted Devastating Earthquakes, Even Specifying Their Magnitude

Dutch scientist and researcher Frank Hugerbeets predicted last Friday, February 3, that an earthquake would occur in Turkey and Syria. He stated on Twitter: “Soon, there will be a magnitude 7.5 earthquake in this region (South-Central Turkey, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon).”

The researcher also made this announcement during a recent report published on February 2 by the institute conducting the Solar System Geometry Survey (SSGEOS). He warned about anticipated aftershocks as well. Specifically, on February 6, Frank Hugerbeets stated on his Twitter account: “Expect additional strong seismic activity in Central Turkey and nearby areas. After strong earthquakes, aftershocks usually continue for some time.”

As predicted by the researcher, two devastating earthquakes were recorded in southern Turkey on February 6, followed by aftershocks. The earthquakes have had catastrophic consequences in Syria as well. According to the latest data, the death toll from the earthquakes in both countries has exceeded 4,825.

The first earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.8, occurred at 04:17 local time (05:17 Yerevan time). The epicenter of the earthquake was near the city of Gaziantep at a depth of 17.9 kilometers. More than 40 aftershocks followed. Then, around 13:30 local time (14:30 Yerevan time), a second earthquake occurred, measuring 7.5 in magnitude. The epicenter of this earthquake was in the Elbistan district of Kahramanmaraş province.

According to the latest reports, the death toll in Turkey has reached 3,381, with more than 20,426 people injured to varying degrees. In Syria, the death toll has reached 1,444.
