VIDEO: "It's Ice, No Salt or Sand Deployed" - Drivers Report Overturned Cars, Hazardous Conditions on Roads

The majority of the Artashat-Yerevan highway has not undergone cleaning operations. AuroraNews.am has received numerous reports regarding this issue.

Drivers mention that there are overturned cars on this stretch of road, with clusters of crashed vehicles in various areas.

One citizen stated, "Salt and sand have been laid only up to the Hovtashen community, and since then, nothing has been done; it's just ice. Two cars in front of me collided with three crashed vehicles, and I barely managed to avoid the hazardous situation. There was also a semi-overturned SUV on the road."

We have also received reports concerning the dire condition of the Yerevan-Armarvir road. A driver noted that no salt or sand has been deployed before the Arshaluyz community.

AuroraNews.am has informed the police and the Road Department Foundation about the reports received. Attempts to contact the press office of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures to gather information regarding the reports of inadequate cleaning efforts were unsuccessful.
