18+. VIDEO. The Bears of Karvachar, Who Embraced Armenian Soldiers, are Being Slaughtered by Azerbaijani Sadists
In Karvachar, Azerbaijani soldiers are killing grey bears and taking photos with the remains of the animals. Earlier, American journalist Lindsey Snell also reported this. "The bear was probably laying mines. It was a saboteur bear," Snell wrote.
It should be noted that grey bears have been encountered in the Karvachar region, particularly in areas where Armenian military units used to be stationed. Local soldiers even published photos and videos featuring the animals. The bears, which were accustomed to humans and would embrace Armenian soldiers, are now being slaughtered by Azerbaijani sadists.
Additionally, the grey bear is included in the Red Book of Armenia and is currently listed in the international IUCN Red List under the status of 'Least Concern.' According to the Red List criteria of IUCN, it is assessed as 'Vulnerable' (VU B2ab). According to the Ministry of Education data, it has a very large range (Eurasia and North America). It is found in the regions of Ararat, Vayots Dzor, Syunik, Tavush, Lori, Kotayk, and Gegharkunik. It can sometimes enter the regions of Shirak and Aragatsotn. It has been recorded at elevations from 400-500 meters up to 3000 meters.
In the video and this image, the bears are with Armenians.
