You May Receive a Fake Message from Your Acquaintance: Instagram Under Attack
The Personal Data Protection Agency has raised an alarm.
Fraud is spreading on Instagram. It is possible that you may receive a fake message from an acquaintance or a friend's account, as fraudsters are stealing user accounts and disseminating phishing links under someone else's name.
"Do not enter your username and password on any platform other than the real website address and official application. Enable two-factor authentication, which will prevent access to your account even if your password is stolen," the agency reported.
