VIDEO: A Massive Fire Breaks Out in Crimea

A massive fire has broken out in a modular residential building intended for construction workers in Crimea.

Seven workers, who were involved in the construction on the section from the Crimean Bridge to Sevastopol along the Tavrida highway, have reportedly died in the blaze within temporary housing units.

Emergency services have confirmed that the fate of five construction workers remains unknown following the fire that engulfed houses on Neftyanaya Street in Sevastopol, according to RIA Novosti.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the area affected by the fire is approximately 200 square meters. The open fire at the scene has been extinguished, and the removal of debris is ongoing.

The Investigative Committee stated that over 100 people were residing in the temporary two-story modular residential building.
