Explosion at Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Headquarters
Iranian sources abroad report new explosions in the Iranian cities of Mahabad and Baneh. It has been noted that fighter jets of the Iranian Air Force took to the sky shortly after midnight. This was announced on Twitter by journalist Gurbakshi Singh Chahal.
"Explosions have occurred at the headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Mahabad. The cause of the explosions is currently unknown," he wrote.
The headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has also been hit. The news has yet to be officially confirmed.
It is noteworthy that on the night of January 28, drone attacks occurred in various Iranian cities targeting several military and infrastructure facilities. In particular, an attack was carried out on a munitions manufacturing plant in the city of Isfahan. Explosions occurred at the oil plant in Shahid Salimi city, at the air base in Dizful, and fires were reported in the cities of Hamadan and Rasht.
