Earthquake Felt in Yerevan and Gyumri with Magnitude 3-4
An earthquake occurred northeast of Kahramanmaras, Turkey, on February 6 at 14:24 local time (10:24 GMT). The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' Seismic Protection Territorial Service recorded the earthquake at geographical coordinates 38.05° latitude and 37.25° longitude, approximately 60 km northeast of Kahramanmaras, with a depth of 10 km and a magnitude of 7.7.
The intensity of the tremors in the epicentral zone reached 10-11 points. In Yerevan, the earthquake was felt with a magnitude of 3, while in Gyumri, Shirak Province, the intensity was reported at 3-4 points.
