More than 40 Arrested Following Terror Attack on Synagogue in Jerusalem
The Israeli police have reported that 42 individuals have been arrested following a terror attack near a synagogue in East Jerusalem, according to the local newspaper Times of Israel.
On Friday evening, the Israeli police announced a terror attack on a synagogue in East Jerusalem. According to the data provided by the Israeli police, seven people were killed and three others were injured as a result of gunfire in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood.
Today, the police revealed that 42 people have been detained in connection with the attack. Law enforcement officials indicated that among those arrested are relatives or acquaintances of the assailant. It has been established that the attacker is 21-year-old Alqam Khayri, a resident of East Jerusalem.
