The number of casualties from the earthquake that occurred in northwestern Iran has reached 447, with three fatalities. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Fars news agency.

Previously, two deaths and 307 injuries were reported. It is noteworthy that a magnitude 5.3 earthquake was recorded in Iran, which was also felt in Armenia. The earthquake registered a strength of 5 in the Syunik Province, and 3-4 in Vayots Dzor, Ararat provinces, and in Yerevan. In the Armavir and Kotayk provinces, the intensity ranged from 2-3.
