39-Year-Old Man Threatens to Kill Wife and Hits 17-Year-Old Daughter in Yeghipanu, Gunshot Fired

A 36-year-old resident of Yeghipanu village has reported to the Yeghqnadzor police department. She stated that on January 24, at around 5:00 PM, during a domestic dispute, her husband assaulted her by hitting her with his fist. He then struck their 17-year-old daughter in the face, causing bodily harm.

The 39-year-old man also threatened to kill his wife and fired a shot from his registered smoothbore hunting rifle in the bedroom.

The man was arrested at 10:00 PM and taken to the Yeghqnadzor police department. Emergency intervention measures were applied against him for a 20-day period. The necessary documents have been forwarded to the Vayots Dzor regional investigative department.
