Russia and China Will Not Attend This Year's Davos World Economic Forum
Business representatives from Russia and China will not participate in the Davos World Economic Forum, which opens on Monday, Bloomberg reports.
This indicates a significant shift in the list of billionaire attendees this year compared to previous years, reflecting the changing centers of power resulting from global shifts.
According to the agency, 116 billionaires are expected to arrive in Davos, which is 40 percent more than a decade ago.
India will be represented by 13 billionaires, including coal magnate Gautam Adani, whose fortune grew by $44 billion last year, while the United States will be represented by 33 delegates.
The event will also feature 18 billionaires from European countries.
