Earthquake Hits Turkey
An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale has struck Elazig province in Turkey, according to Anadolu agency. The Turkish government's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported that the tremors occurred at 06:36 local time.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Sivrice district at a depth of 17.9 kilometers.
There are currently no reports of casualties or destruction.
Elazig is a city and province in Eastern Turkey, situated in Eastern Anatolia.
