The President of the French National Assembly is in Armenia

The President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, has welcomed the President of the National Assembly of the French Republic, Yael Braun-Pivet, who has arrived in Yerevan at his invitation. This information has been provided by the press service of the National Assembly.

The delegation led by the French National Assembly President includes Vice President Valerie Rabault, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Jean-Louis Bourlanges, MP Anne Genetet who represents French citizens living outside France, and MP Anne-Laurence Petel from the Rhône department.

Alen Simonyan greeted Yael Braun-Pivet at Zvartnots International Airport. The two-day visit of the high-ranking French guests is packed with an agenda. Meetings are planned with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other senior officials, as well as an expanded meeting with members of the National Assembly. The agenda also includes a visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial.

A joint press conference is also scheduled to take place between Alen Simonyan and Yael Braun-Pivet.
