Erdogan Plans to Speak with Putin and Zelensky
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to speak via phone with his Russian and Ukrainian counterparts, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, to discuss the possibility of organizing humanitarian corridors.
This was announced by Turkey's chief ombudsman, Şeref Malkoç, at the conclusion of the Ombudsmen's Conference titled "The Future of Human Rights in the 21st Century."
Malkoç stated that one of the main outcomes of the conference was the meetings held between the ombudsmen of Russia and Ukraine, describing them as positive. He clarified that they have proposed to Erdogan the development of a grain corridor initiative and that he has instructed to work in this direction.
The ombudsman emphasized that Erdogan is expected to hold phone conversations with Putin and Zelensky either today or tomorrow.
