Law Enforcement Agencies Followed Pashinyan's Press Conference with Pen and Paper
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that yesterday, around noon, the entire state system of Armenia came to a standstill. Senior officials were seated in front of their computers, following Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's press conference. Work was suspended.
In particular, law enforcement agencies were taking notes with pen and paper during the conference to capture and follow up on any important points raised by the Prime Minister.
As is known, Nikol Pashinyan had not held a press conference for more than two years. The Prime Minister admitted that following the 2020 war, the political situation had been tense, and the level of politicization in the media was high, which is why he avoided meeting with his former colleagues.
In this regard, yesterday's press conference was highly anticipated. Pashinyan appeared to have prepared extensively for the questions, working to remain calm and not raise his voice. However, he managed to make several serious omissions. When a question was uncomfortable, he would simply state, "I am not aware of that." For example, regarding the fact that the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper has published a series of lies in approximately 160 issues, he claimed to be unaware, as well as being unaware of the involvement of his teammates in corruption and that his bodyguard had assaulted an operator, among other issues.
Overall, he left the impression of an incapable leader during yesterday's press conference.
