After Armenia's Rejection, CSTO Plans Exercises in Another Country
After Armenia's rejection, the CSTO’s joint staff is developing proposals for conducting exercises in the territories of other states, said the joint staff's press secretary Vladislav Shchegrikovich.
“The CSTO joint staff received information from the Ministry of Defense of Armenia about the impracticality of conducting exercises on the territory of Armenia with the CSTO peacekeeping forces in 2023. Currently, proposals are being developed within the CSTO joint staff regarding the possibility of holding such exercises in the territories of other CSTO member states and the clarification of the joint training plan for the command and control bodies and forces and means of the CSTO collective security system,” Shchegrikovich told reporters.
