Production and Repair of Military Equipment and Ammunition Halted in Ukraine: Russian Defense Ministry

The transfer of the Ukrainian armed forces’ reserves from the western regions of Ukraine has been halted as a result of the missile strike. The Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) has carried out intensive missile strikes on Ukrainian targets today, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

“On December 29, the RF Armed Forces struck intensive blows to the military command system of Ukraine and energy facilities ensuring the operation of defense industry enterprises using long-range high-precision weapons deployed from air and sea,” the report states. “The strike has achieved its purpose, all specified targets have been hit.”

According to the Ministry of Defense, the production and repair of military equipment and ammunition have been halted, and the transfer of reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the western regions has also ceased.

Due to disruptions in rail freight transport, foreign weapons supplied to the Ukrainian armed forces have been blocked in the rear areas.

It is worth reminding that on the early morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a decision regarding a special military operation against Ukraine. Combat operations in Ukraine have been ongoing for the 308th day now.
