Passenger Aircraft Crashes in Nenets Autonomous Okrug

An-2 aircraft has crashed in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, TASS reports citing the emergency situations service. According to the agency, two people have died.

The Telegram 112 channel states that the aircraft made an emergency landing 10 kilometers away from the village of Karatayka. There were 12 people on board (2 crew members and 10 passengers), according to the channel.

No official comments have been made yet. Later, the Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed the information about the hard landing of the An-2 aircraft 10 kilometers from the village of Karatayka. The aircraft was on the route Naryan-Mar - Karatayka - Varandey - Naryan-Mar.
