Strong Gas Odor Reported in Certain Areas of Yerevan, No Danger Present

Today, at 17:15, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received numerous reports of a strong gas odor in buildings located in the Nor Nork, Arabkir, and Kentron administrative districts of Yerevan, according to official information from the ministry's website.

“Five firefighting teams have been dispatched to the mentioned administrative districts. At 17:50, information from Gazprom Armenia indicated that the issue was related to an increased level of odorant in the gas supply system; there is no danger involved,” the statement reads.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations advises citizens to ventilate the area.
