Three Patients Transferred from Artsakh to Armenia Along with Two Escorts and a Nurse

This morning, three more patients were transferred from Artsakh to Armenia. This information was conveyed by Zara Amatuni, the head of the communication programs of the ICRC delegation.

“Today we have transferred three patients to Armenia, accompanied by two escorts and one nurse,” said Amatuni.

It is worth reminding that on the morning of December 12, a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothes closed the Stepanakert-Goris highway connecting Artsakh to Armenia under the pretext of environmental reasons, near the Shushi-Karin Tak intersection.

Since December 13, the Azerbaijani side has also cut off gas supply to Artsakh. On the morning of December 16, Artsakh's Prime Minister Ruben Vardanyan announced that gas supply to Artsakh had been restored without any preconditions.

Today marks the third day that the people of Artsakh are facing a new challenge due to an accident on the 33rd km of the Goris-Stepanakert 110 kV power line, the only high-voltage line supplying Artsakh from Armenia, located in the Agavnemo-Berdzor section, where they have been unable to receive electricity from Armenia.

However, the Lachin Corridor remains closed.
