VIDEO: The Best Goals Scored by King Pelé

As previously reported, the King of Football, legendary Brazilian footballer Pelé, has passed away at the age of 82. During his career, he scored over a thousand goals. Nascimento played for Santos (Brazil) and New York Cosmos (USA). He also represented the Brazil national team, making 92 appearances and scoring 77 goals. From 1995 to 1998, he served as the country's Minister of Sport.

Pelé is the only player to have won the World Cup three times (in 1958, 1962, and 1970). He is a member of four World Cups. According to FIFA’s football commission, he is considered the best football player of the 20th century, while the International Olympic Committee named him the best athlete of the 20th century.
