VIDEO: Croatian National Team Football Players Display Fascist Salute

Journalists have revealed that during a closed party, two players from the Croatian national football team displayed a fascist salute and shouted slogans.

The center of the scandal is Croatian players Dejan Lovren, who plays for Zenit, and Marcelo Brozovic, who plays for Inter. According to Serbian newspaper Vecherne Novosti, during a private party in Zagreb, the athletes decided to greet everyone by extending their two fingers with their right hands raised high.

The players from Zenit and Inter demonstrated the Nazi salute and yelled “Ready for the homeland,” which is a well-known slogan of the Croatian far-right movement responsible for the genocide of Serbs and Jews during World War II.

Furthermore, the national team athletes found it appropriate to sing songs by Marko Perkovic, whose lyrics openly glorify Croatian figures who participated in the organization of concentration camps during the actual occupation of the Third Reich.
