Legendary Footballer Pele Passes Away
Legendary footballer Pele, a three-time World Cup champion with the Brazil national team, has passed away at the age of 82. The news of the world-renowned player's death was reported by the Associated Press.
Earlier, it was revealed that Pele had begun saying goodbye to family members. On November 30, it was reported that Pele had been admitted to the hospital with general swelling of the body. The Brazilian was diagnosed with heart failure and confusion. Doctors at the clinic where the former athlete was lying stated that the Brazilian has a negative trend in cancer and therefore requires more intensive care due to kidney and heart function impairment.
Pele is a three-time World Cup champion with the Brazil national team and was recognized as the player of the century by the International Football Federation.
