The three-time World Cup champion of the Brazil national football team, Pele, has started to say goodbye to his family members. This information was shared by British businessman and sports manager Frank Khalid. According to Lenta.ru, Khalid mentioned this on Twitter.
The sports manager stated that Pele has gathered his family and friends before his passing. He noted that the 82-year-old champion's health is deteriorating day by day.
On November 30, it was reported that Pele had been hospitalized for general swelling of the body. The Brazilian was diagnosed with heart failure and confusion. The doctors at the clinic where the former athlete is staying indicated that the Brazilian is facing negative trends related to cancer, and therefore requires more intensive care due to kidney and heart function disruptions.
Pele is a three-time World Cup champion with the Brazil national team and has been recognized as the Player of the Century by the International Football Federation.
