Around 20 Opposition Political Forces Discuss the Situation Surrounding Armenia and Artsakh

This afternoon, an opposition political forces consultation was held at the St. George Center under the initiative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation's Supreme Body.

The agenda centered on the security situation created in the Republics of Armenia and Artsakh, the closure of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan, and the humanitarian and existential threats arising from the blockade of Artsakh.

About two dozen political forces participating in the consultation agreed in their assessments that the current situation is a consequence of the authorities' anti-national policies both externally and internally. They emphasized that the full realization of the right to self-determination of the people of Artsakh and leadership guided by national-state values and a united national movement is necessary to prevent Azerbaijan's genocidal ambitions.

The meetings and consultations will continue, focusing on the commitment to form unified actions.
