Landmine Discovered in Yerevan

On December 18, at 13:25, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report that a mine had been spotted near a house in the Bagrevand neighborhood of Yerevan.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Yerevan fire and rescue department, along with an engineering group from the civil defense forces, were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the discovered item was an 82mm diameter corroded landmine, which was subsequently transported by the engineering unit to a training ground for further destruction.
