Streets Leading to Republic Square Will Be Closed on December 5

To ensure the safety of participants during the opening of the "Junior Eurovison-2022" song competition and the lighting ceremony of the Christmas tree in Republic Square, streets leading to Republic Square will be closed starting at 16:00 on December 5.

Specifically, Tigran Mets Avenue will be closed from the Tigran Mets Avenue-Khanzhyan Street intersection, Nalbandyan Street from Sakharov Square, Abovyan Street from the Abovyan-Pushkin Streets intersection, Amiryan Street from the Amiryan-Zakyan Streets intersection, and Vazgen Sargsyan Street from Shahumyan Square.

On December 10 and 11, during the days of the "Junior Eurovison-2022" song competition, starting at 12:00, Athens Street and Tsitsernakaberd Highway will also be intermittently closed.

Since parking will be prohibited in the area adjacent to the sports and concert complex on December 10 and 11, attendees of the "Junior Eurovison" will be allowed to park their vehicles in Brazil Square and nearby parking lots. Buses will provide free transportation from both Brazil Square and the area around the Yerevan Metro's "Barekamutyun" station to the sports and concert complex for guests attending the international song competition.
