Legendary Footballer Pele Talks About His Hospitalization

The legendary Brazilian footballer Pele has announced on his social media page that his hospitalization was planned.

“Friends, I am in the hospital for a monthly visit. It is always nice to receive positive messages. Thank you, Qatar, and everyone who brings me good vibes,” wrote the Brazilian football giant.

It was reported yesterday that doctors have diagnosed Pele with bronchopneumonia. There was also information that Pele, who is fighting cancer, was hospitalized due to heart failure and swelling.

According to the FIFA Football Committee, the Brazilian is considered the greatest player of the 20th century. During his career, he scored 1,289 goals in 1,363 matches. In 1999, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognized Pele as the greatest athlete of the century, despite the fact that he has never participated in the Olympic Games.
