Belgium's National Team Coach to Resign After World Cup Exit
Belgium's national football team coach will resign following the team's elimination from the World Cup.
Spanish coach Roberto Martinez has made this decision after a goalless draw against Croatia.
"That was my last game as head coach. It was emotional, as you can imagine," Martinez told reporters.
The 49-year-old coach has led the Belgian national team since 2016. Under his leadership, the team won the bronze medal at the World Cup held in Russia, marking the best achievement in the team's history.
